EBy maintaining a positive signal-to-noise ratio, the 100dB sound power of the Core-X5 loudspeaker gives the user guaranteed communication intelligibility, even in the noisiest settings.

Designed for group communication in the field with a dedicated "Push-to-Talk" app, the Core-X5 incorporates four programmable buttons that can be assigned to different actions such as "Push-to-Talk" communication, a distress call or a change of conference group.
These programmable buttons have been designed to have a bigger surface (up to 1.5 cm in length) and a heightened pressure of 2N (200g) offering excellent ergonomics with gloves.
And you don't need to worry about pressing them by mistake, as the buttons are carefully positioned and strengthened by protective polycarbonate reinforcements.
Built to last, they are able to withstand more than 700,000 presses throughout their five-year warranty, the equivalent of 400 presses a day for five years.

A Christmas present for my husband, who is a fan of the brand. After blowing up his X4, we bought the M5 in a hurry, and he was very disappointed because it wasn't the same quality as the X4. I'm extremely satisfied with my core-X5 in terms of quality/price and the design, which reinforces the perception of solidity. It's easy to hold, despite weighing slightly more than the norm, but this impression of heaviness quickly disappears with practice. Browsing is a real pleasure, thanks to very fast execution and fluid operation and management of the various applications. The screen size makes for easy reading.

My first CrossCall smartphone, with 4x more internal memory (ROM) and 2x more RAM, retains astonishing fluidity despite the addition of applications such as another browser, another e-mail program, another SMS/MMS tool, 2 banking applications, another GPS application with cartography on SD card, LAN or Wifi network diagnostic tools. The size of the screen, which remains reasonable, is sufficient and still allows it to be worn on the belt in a genuine leather pouch. Its autonomy is very good, with a battery of almost 5000mAh, which partly explains its weight. It recharges very quickly with the original charger and cable, and also with the X-link, but I'm afraid I shorten battery life with rapid charging, and prefer a slower charge for this reason. I appreciate the waterproofing without really needing it and won't be taking photos underwater! The LED that signals charging in progress and turns GREEN at the end of the charge is not a gimmick at all.
